of IGA looking at the Physibility and viability of the area.  The main focus area of our project is to develop agriculture in the project area. In this trade we have selected  116  beneficiaries from 20 villages and assisted @Rs.7000/- (out of Rs.11,280/-) in 1st install ment  to run the agriculture activities. It was seen that most of the beneficiaries adopted 3-4 varieties of crops during Rabi & Kahrif period. A sum of Rs. 812,000/- was released to implement  the Agriculture activities. During Rabi most priority was given for Tommato, Brinjal, ladies finger & onion etc.  It was seen that most of the farmers earn an additional income of Rs.4000/-(net)  each  by investing Rs.7000/-. To sustain this activities we had organised  12nos. of training programme by covering 116 beneficiaries in 2 phases on Rabi 7 kharif cropping, insect and pest management, application of fertilisers and pesticides etc.

slp6As most of the beneficiaries are land less so our  2nd priorities was promoting the goat rearing activities. During the project period we have assisted 229 beneficiaries for goat rearing activities. The beneficiaries

itself made the goat shed and purchased 3 female goat each for the purpose. As it is long term activities the farmers/beneficiaries yet to get benefit from it. As this activities is prone to epidemic and mortality is very high in comparison to others activities we had organised two phases of training on goat reaing for 229 beneficiaries.

Some of the beneficiaries has some ideas on petty business and they have interest to take this Income Genrating Activities for their sustainable livelihood. Looking at the physibility and viability of the activities we have promoted petty business for 5 beneficiaries from 5 villages. It is seen that most of the beneficiaries kept the daily needs materials and the petty business are running well. The beneficiaries are getting 15% of benefits from sailling of the materials. The beneficiaries are trained and follwed-up in regular basis to strengthen their activties.
